Gilli is an honors graduate of the Academy of Commercial Communications which is the largest copywriting school in Israel. Gilli worked for several advertising agencies including Glickman Netler Samsonov where he wrote ads, radio spots and TV commercials for dozens of Israeli and international companies.

He then moved to work as a TV news producer for Channel 10 News, producing the 8 o’clock news show, various news bulletins and the award winning Rino Zror Documentary series (Din VeCheshbon).
All throughout, Gilli continued to work as a freelance writer, co-writing and editing the book Home Economics and screenwriting the successful children's DVD and television show - Chefi the Chef.

In 2006 Gilli was awarded an elite fellowship from the Canadian Government and McGill University - The Sauve Scholars program brings together young professionals from all around the globe with the aim of promoting their leadership Qualities.
After completing the program in Montreal, Gilli moved back to his hometown Jerusalem and is now a community website builder.
